Birth Rate

With the decreasing birth rates in Singapore, the ratio of babies to elderly is disproportioned thereby leading to an ageing population. What is more alarming is that  this gap is widening. The common issue which concerns many of our citizens is that they have difficulties juggling their commitment to their children and coping with the competitive demands of their career. The TRUTH initiate has heard your story and we too, are worried of the possibility of you losing your job. We believe in giving you the peace of mind when you are on maternity/paternity leave, thus allowing you to spend quality time with your children. As such, we suggest implementing these policies for a much happier Singapore.

Foreign talent

In a globalised world, foreign talents are employed to improve and improve the competitive edge across borders. This allows the company and the country to ensure greater economic growth. Singapore is a regional business hub in ASEAN and in order for us to gain a foothold in the world economy, we need to be at the tip of progress. The addition of foreign talents serve as a competition to our locals in the workforce to strive for higher professional standards and they help to value add our economy. Given, there is a demand for specific skills and years of experience to fulfil job requirements which many fresh graduates do not possess, we would like to bring forth some policies to the incumbent cookie-cutter education system.

Transportation

Public Transportation- Bus & Mrt

Singapore is a constantly evolving nation. Our policies have evolved according to the times, and so has our landscape, but what remains largely unchanged is our infrastructure system. Transport is crucial in economic growth and maintaining economic competitiveness. However, with a large increase in population, the heavy utilization of current public transport infrastructures have led to breakdowns, delays and traffic congestions. We recognize that these problems are also faced by other developed countries in the world who also possess state of the art transportation systems. However, more can be done to increase our standard of living. Furthermore, the rising cost of public transportation is not reflective of the improvements in the public transportation infrastructure.
